Fernwood NRG’s before care program provides a safe and nurturing environment for children before school, ensuring they are ready to start their day with confidence and enthusiasm. However, there is a pressing need to further support these young minds by offering a nutritious breakfast each morning.
By integrating a Breakfast Program, we will address this critical need and make a profound difference in the lives of these children and their families. We understand the importance of nourishment as a foundational aspect of a child's overall well-being. Access to a nutritious breakfast will support their physical health, enhance their cognitive abilities, and set them on a path for academic success.
We are very excited to announce a new initiative with Kolumbia Inn Daycare Society! Our goal is to raise funds to implement a healthy snack program for the children who attend their Queensboro location. Healthy snacks are an important part of a child's growth and development and we look forward to having a positive impact in the lives of these children. Check back here soon for updates!
